Costume and Textile Designer
Eva Buryakovsky is a costume designer and textile-focused visual storyteller, holding a BA in Textile Design and an MA in Costume Design. Her practice centres on research-driven design and visual narratives informed by mythology, female archetypes, and heritage craft traditions.
Working across costume, textiles, and moving image, she combines archival research with experimental textile techniques to build atmospheric worlds through material, form, and transformation. Her work explores themes of metamorphosis, ecology, and the relationship between the human body and myth, positioning costume as both a narrative device and a sculptural object.
